Iban

Highly Endangered

Illustration of a Rajang Belikan from  Rumah Nyala, Kapit, documented in The Iban Diaries of Monica Freeman, 1949-1951.

This instrument is now very rare. Its appearance is similar to an Orang Ulu sape and the instruments origins  likely came through barter trade or Iban berjalai migration.
